Many process improvement or automated tool implementations fail because companies overlook the most important aspect of the effort - the effect of change on the organization. That's why our efforts focus on creating a plan that's executable. Now that's something people will get behind. In the early phases of our APEX transformation process we conduct a series of workshops to gain perspectives from all levels. We review successes and failures to understand what you've been trying, what has worked and what hasn't. We also address the business rationale behind why each proposed change is necessary. These, along with other steps that we've built into our process, ensure the involvement and buy-in of key players. Working in collaboration, the change committee will then identify
the top issues and their solutions that will ultimately deliver
the most impact and are most likely to succeed. By the last workshop,
our team and yours has formed a plan that is ready for implementation.
